CSF Track Out Day 1, April 2013
Day 1 was a huge success! As soon as we got here and unpacked our things, we headed to the Mess Hall for a warm welcoming from Maggie and Matthew, the Camp Seafarer Program Directors for Track Out! They welcomed us with a big taco lunch and once we finished eating our oatmeal cookies, we headed back to our cabins to prepare for an afternoon of activities! The activities included: the Blue Zoom water slide, the shark tooth pile, the zipline, archery, riflery, golf, tennis, canoeing and creative arts. Of course, the basketball courts were also open as well as the Track Out favorite: GAGA ball! We had a BLAST!! At 5:30, activities ended and we headed back to our cabins to prepare for dinner. Our dinner of roasted turkey, rice, and salad was exactly what we needed after a busy afternoon! The fudgesicles for dessert didn't hurt either. After dinner was over, we split into our three respective camps (1, 2, 3) and had CAMP NIGHT! Camp 1 headed to Camp Sea Gull for some golfball trail beach, Camp 2 played a game of kickball, and Camp 3 played a huge game of capture the flag. Each camp night concluded with a devotion from their head counselors. After devotion, everyone was ready to get a good night's sleep and excited for the morning to come!
