Meet our amazing staff!

We have an incredible team here at Track Out. Our staff have such a huge passion for working with kids and they really pour their hearts into everything they do. From coming up with creative ranks and activities to overnight Seafarer trips to even swim time in the bubble... in the middle of January... with snow on the ground, these guys are the reason our program runs! Amber Gordon

Director

Nicole Mountz

Office Manager and Communications Director

Years at the Y: 7

Loves working with all age groups but has a special love for teens. She volunteers with our Junior Leaders Club program at the Y and will be traveling to India this year on a mission trip!

Kathryn Barnard

4th and 5th grade Counselor, Fitness Chief, and Special Events Coordinator

Years at the Y: 5

She was a gymnast for 9 years, has a younger sister and loves weird animals! She is also Assistant Director of Blazing Trails during the summer.

Brandon Harcum

2nd and 3rd grade Counselor and Youth Sports Director

Years at the Y: 5.5

Graduated from Radford University and has a twin brother! He was an All American wrestler and has an incredibly contagious, very optimistic personality.

Jeanette Pryor

2nd and 3rd grade Counselor and Arts and Crafts Chief

Years at the Y: 4

Jeanette splits her time between Track Out and running an outreach after school program! She has a huge passion for the outreach program here at the Y and is currently working on her Masters in Education.

Zach Thomas

All ages!

Years at the Y: 5

Zach has been with us at Track Out this past year and will be leaving us very soon to join the Navy! Loves to swim and has a great time with every age group from little ones to our high school kids!

Aaron Baek

4th and 5th grade Counselor and Sports Chief

Years at the Y: 8

Loves to play basketball and works at Rising Sun Day Camp during the summer! Has worked at Track Out for many years and does a great job with every single age group.

Debby Conolty

Special Events and Huddle time Coordinator

Years at the Y: Almost 20!

Splits her time between Track Out and running Mills Park Elementary After School! She has a beautiful granddaughter, loves to dance and has a huge passion for brand new kindergartners.

Max Gongaware

All ages!

Years at the Y: 4.5

Max graduated from Elon and was once on Sports Center's not top 10! He is a huge UNC basketball fan and also loves the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Ryan Casey

Middle School Counselor

Years at the Y: 7

Ryan is swedish! He's definitely the track out comedian, he loves to play soccer and his sister once touched the back of Brian from The Backstreet Boys!;)

Susan Miller

Middle School Coordinator

Years at the Y: 9

Susan will be a mom to a baby boy in January!! She loves playing soccer, is a graduate of ECU and plans all of our Middle School events.

Joe Loftus

K/1st Counselor and Swim Chief

Years at the Y: 5

Joe loves to ride his bike, fish and eat veggies. He also built an amazing archery range down in our lower camp this summer!
